June 2009 SIEMENS
ZELUS installed and commissioned two custom designed 125 / 130 Ton trolley hoists for Siemens Power Generation in Hamilton. The Hoists were completely synchronized with incorporated load cells and displays to facilitate the lifting of 400 Ton engines.
At an earlier date we made modifications in the programming of two 100 Ton hoists in the same bay to allow Siemens to make each lift using all 4 hoists at matched speeds, and with read-outs to monitor the load carried on each hook.
The new trolleys were designed and built by Zelus in Stoney Creek, and met all technical requirements within a very tight production schedule.

ZELUS announces its affiliation with DBI-SALA to provide you with the best Fall Arrest systems, together with technical and engineering support, installations and inspections.
 August 2008:
Zelus made and shipped its longest crane (130 ft) to Carp, Ontario for Harris ReBar. Before shipping, the plant in Carp was prepped.  Installation was perfect and the crane passed its test with flying colours.  Photos.
 2007:
We upgraded all the electrics on an outdoor 30T overhead scrap crane. This project included all-new wiring, Controllers, Resistors, Panels, etc.

Zelus more than doubles it's manufacturing facility to accommodate our astonishing growth
 May 2006:
Filled another order for two 30 Ton cranes for a Montreal based Company. A few firsts for Zelus, building our first semi-gantry crane and our first 10 Ton transfer car.
 April 2006:
Designed, manufactured and installed two 32Tonne coil handling cranes for a Montreal based Company.
 Dec 2005:
Completed a 2 x 10 Ton custom crane, Variable Frequency Drives on all motions, designed for 60 degree ambient environment, for a Toronto based aluminum casting plant.
